2011 Record Year

Well 2011 turned out to be my most productive year ever with the release of 2 full length albums, 10 DJ gigs (2 of them at the Opera House), as well as a youtube and facebook page going up. I now find myself reflecting on what to do next as I feel I have pushed the DJing almost as far as I can and my interest for performing live has wained. I have a January Subspace gig at the Great Hall and am looking forward to that, however this break since Halloween has been very nice.As always I continue to want bigger and more and am not even sure what that is at this point, so I guess it will be coninue on as usual and hope to get some more album sales and fan support. PS Fan support and comments are always welcome and encouraged as it does tend to help feed my need for validation in this vast sea of DJ's and musicians. Cheers and have a great New Years everyone!

Keeping Busy

I survived my 4 hour DJ set @ Club Wicked, this is the longest set I have ever spun and it went very well. I mixed in some new Pulse Plant material and was happy with how it sounded in the club. The artwork for the new album is almost complete and I am probably going to delay the release until July just to maintain a little more distance between the two releases. Gigs have also been keeping me busy so I have lost a bit of my focus with my final listen of the mix. Upcoming gigs include June 25th and July 30th in association with Subspace at the Great Hall. Hoope to see you all there, I have a lot of new material I will be spinning, cheers!

Things have been moving quicker than I had anticipated and I am almost finished mastering on another 10 track album. I am currently planning a release date of June 15th which is 3 months after the release of Shift (which was released 3 months into the year). I don't know if it is possible but I am now considering a Trilogy release, however this may be a bit too ambitious. My new album Control is packed with hard hitting tunes and some minimal techno tracks and I am really happy with the way it has turned out. More Tracks, More Events

I just mixed down track 10 of another new album last night and will moving into the final stages of master shortly. Seeing as these 2 albums are so close together I am trying to ties them together, kind of like a double release. I never thought I would release so many songs in such a short period of time but I have been on a writing frenzy. I am toying with the concept of having a name that associates with "Shift", currently thinking of "Control" or "Ctrl" for the new album and the cover design being somehow related to the splatter of Shift. I hope to have this album ready for release in late June or early July at the latest. In the meantime I will be spinning a Subspace night @ the Great Hall on June 25th, hope to see you all there!

I have been pretty busy lately. I finally broke down and made a Facebook Band Page, you can check this out in the contacts section of the webpage and "Like it". I have also been busy writing new tracks, I am actually on track 8 to be exact. If all goes according to plan I hope to have another CD release in earl to late summer. Hope to see you all at the Dark Rave @ Nocturne on Saturday Apr 16th, I will be on just before Aryia, set time will be 11:00 - 12:00.

Pulse Plant - Shift now available on iTunes

I am excited to announce that my new album Shift is now available on iTunes. I have spent more time mastering and paying attention to the final mix than I ever have before and as a result I am extremely pleased with the final result. The name Shift made a lot of sense for the album as it represents a shift in music styles from what I have previously released. This album focuses on techno, mixing tribal, minimal and hard hitting techno together. Coincidentally it is also along the same vein (name wise) as my previous album Accelerator. Hope you have a chance to downloaded it, comments are always welcome.

New Album - end of March

In order to get the best possible mix I am taking a little more time assessing and mastering the new album. Originally I had hoped to have it up for sale on iTunes by the end of Feb but as I really started getting into the mix and tweaking it, I realized I had a bit more work than I had anticipated, so my new release goal is the end of March. In the Meantime you can catch a DJ set @ Neutral Subspace party on Saturday March 26th where I will be spinning some techno and electro and on Saturday April 16th Dark Rave @ Nocturne where I will be spinning hard techno.

DJ set @ Opera House (Subspace Party)

It has been a long time since I played at the Opera House and I must say it is a great venue. My set times were 10 - 10:40, 11:20-12:00 and 1:15-2:15 which worked out really well. I played some techno for my first set to warm up the crowd (and threw in some original Pulse Plant material). For my next 2 sets I started out with some electro and transitioned into some dark tech-trance which really got the crowd moving. Thanks to everyone that came out, I had a blast spinning.
